What is web3? Another way to describe ‘blockchain technology’ is through the lens of new applications which can be built upon it. Roughly, mainframe computer applications were web1 (think IBM and Microsoft). Web2 companies are ubiquitous in our lives today (think information platforms like Facebook, Uber, and Spotify). Web3 applications — ways to transact and coordinate with value and information — will be unlocked by blockchain’s features.

What is #ReFi? Tl;dr: a catch-all term describing crypto applications that positively impact our physical world.
